My name is Kate Carrot, and I began painting in 2007 as a symbolic way to express my emotions and
reflect my views on aspects of the world I found difficult to accept. Being a deeply emotional
person, I’ve always found it challenging to navigate through these feelings, whether they’re
positive or negative.
In 2016, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, but my passion soon shifted to photography.
For many years, I focused on capturing people and city streets, drawing attention to the small,
often overlooked details of everyday life.
In 2020, I completed my Master's degree in Psychology, hoping it would bring me a sense of
peace. However, that same year, I returned to painting and discovered my love for abstraction.
Initially, I worked with acrylic fluid art, which helped me cope with the personal challenges I
was facing. During this time, I spent a period in a psychiatric hospital, where the solitude
allowed me to reflect on my life and explore deeper aspects of myself. I often questioned what
path I should take and where it might lead.
Since 2020, I have been painting consistently, experimenting with different styles and
incorporating unique materials like clay, sand, metal, and plants to expand the ways I express
myself through art. In 2023, I ventured into tattoo art, completing a tattoo course and
occasionally creating doodle tattoos. However, painting on canvas remains my greatest source of
joy and inner peace.
My abstract paintings are created for those who appreciate art that inspires and brings new emotions. In each work, I strive to convey the harmony of colors and shapes so that the viewer can feel a unique atmosphere created by me. These paintings will become an ideal complement to any interior, giving it a special charm and individuality. Each work is the result of painstaking labor and the search for perfection, so each picture is unique and one of a kind.
